Anglers Association FRAA is an organization of volunteers dedicated to the preservation, protection, and enhancement of the Farmington River. They were instrumental in the creation of the Trout Management areas and, in cooperation with the Connecticut DEP, stock many large trout there. Priority activities include river cleanups, salmon and trout stocking, educational programs, and political activism when necessary.
