May 4, 10 a.m. Welcome Spring!! CT Botanical Society botanist, Steve Messier, will lead a flower walk. Prepare for the unexpected and some wet feet. Not directed for young children.

Meet at Pack Trail: Follow Greenwoods Rd (off East River Rd) and signs to Pack Trail

 
May-Sept, Saturday mornings Austin Hawes Campground. Saturday morning youth fishing program with CARE fishing instructor, Donna Wojdak. All equipment supplied.

May 24, 11-12 SSSnakes. Brian Kleinman of Riverside Reptiles, creator of Between Land and Water, a respected documentary of amphibian life cycles, will bring specimens for a visit. Informative to all.
